RECENT PRESS

SHAYAN- the Sanksrit word for deep sleep or rest- is dedicated to helping people sleep better. Charu was sad when she saw her mother unable to sleep well after dad's death a few years ago, and wanted to compose an album using the power of evening ragas in India.

The album harnesses beautiful evening Indian ragas from Desh to Mohanam and debuted worldwide August 22nd!

SHAYAN had its world premiere at Carnegie Hall on July 22 to a standing ovation.
